Review: Kung Fu Panda 2 (3D)

Last Saturday I saw Kung Fu Panda 2. You may have seen the first film. The second one is even better. It has been advertised a lot. The 3D experience was much better than the adverts - it worked very well because the characters were often seen jumping from great cliffs, falling from great heights and trying (and sometimes failing) to fly. My favourite part was when Po the Panda was seen standing on the top of the building wearing a straw hat, trying to look menacing. He is a good hero because his plans don't always work. This makes the film more realistic. The plot: Shen, the evil peacock, was trying to take over China by destroying Kung Fu. It didn't work, but the tension builds up right to the end. Some parts of the film were sad - like when Po finds out the true story of his childhood - but these parts make you think about things and get to like Po even more.

Latest news

This to tell you that I've moved house and home is one of the most important places in the world to me. And also I'd like to tell you that my dad has a new book out called The Venice Lido - all about the beach and the people who have gone there in history and today. Also my dad got married this Wednesday to Vicki who is an actress and a tutor and a voice coacher. The weather in London is very nice - do have a walk on the Heath or in the parks. And soon you will be able to swim in the Ponds on Hampstead Heath (see left).

William and Kate

As you can see, everyone is talking about William and Kate's very special wedding which will be held in Westminster Abbey two days from now. They are even being included in cups of coffee. I will be standing right outside the Abbey when the wedding starts. It's a very big event - right now, they are decorating the Abbey with flowers and four-metre high trees, preparing food for a feast and getting the horses ready. Prince Harry is the Best Man, which means he has to take care of the wedding rings and not lose them. I do hope everyone enjoys the wedding. When William and Kate are crowned in the future everyone will remember the moment they got married, so they must look happy, and look after each other.
