Review: Kung Fu Panda 2 (3D)

Last Saturday I saw Kung Fu Panda 2. You may have seen the first film. The second one is even better. It has been advertised a lot. The 3D experience was much better than the adverts - it worked very well because the characters were often seen jumping from great cliffs, falling from great heights and trying (and sometimes failing) to fly. My favourite part was when Po the Panda was seen standing on the top of the building wearing a straw hat, trying to look menacing. He is a good hero because his plans don't always work. This makes the film more realistic. The plot: Shen, the evil peacock, was trying to take over China by destroying Kung Fu. It didn't work, but the tension builds up right to the end. Some parts of the film were sad - like when Po finds out the true story of his childhood - but these parts make you think about things and get to like Po even more.
